Miss Nicole Zenner is a leading consultant gynaecologist who specialises in colposcopy, general gynaecology and vulval problems. She is based at OBGYN Matters clinic at The Portland Hospital in central London, comprised of six of the UK's top consultants in obstetrics and gynaecology.

Miss Zenner is a consultant gynaecologist at the Royal Free Hospital in London, where she works in a busy vulval clinic and colposcopy unit.

Her clinical research has been published in various leading peer-reviewed journals including the Journal of Obstetrics & Gynaecology.

After completing his higher specialist training rotation in orthopaedics, Mr Baumann impressively completed fellowship training in shoulder surgery at the established Stepping Hill Hospital in Stockport. To-date, he has published eight peer-reviewed papers and two book chapters, and is currently the clinical governance lead for orthopaedics at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals.

As a surgeon-scientist his aim is to address blindness by developing new treatments for retinal diseases particularly gene and cell therapies. In 2007 he performed the world’s first retinal gene therapy for genetic blindness. In 2013 he performed Europe’s first trial of embryonic stem cells transplantation. His career achievements have been recognised with numerous awards including Moorfields Research Medal, the US Foundation Fighting Blindness Board of Directors’ Award and the Champalimaud Vision Award. Notably, in 2020, he was elected fellow of the UK Academy of Medical Sciences.
